ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sirajul Haq on Thursday said that joint strategy and consensus among all stakeholders are needed for elimination of terrorism from the country.
He said that "We should comply with war on terrorism in its political perspective", which should be tackled through political means to discontinue the violence from the society.
Sirajul Haq said that violence has been increased in the country due to the policies of former dictator.
He added that 40,000 Pakistani's had sacrificed their lives and "We received billion of dollar economic loss in this so called war on terror."
Talking to private television channel, he said that drone attacks killed innocent people which had its counter affects and against the sovereignty of the Pakistan.
He said that "I believe in dialogue and every matter could be resolved through the negotiation."
