imageKARACHI: Sony has reportedly hired Oren Uziel, the well-known writer behind ‘Mortal Kombat Rebirth’, to pen the latest installment in the famous ‘Men in Black’ franchise.

Following last summer’s highly profitable ‘Men in Black 3’, the adventures of Agents J and K are reported to continue. Details of the project are apparently still unconfirmed, it is not sure if either Tommy Lee Jones or Will Smith will return to reprise their roles. Also, it has been reported that “Men in Black 3” stars Emma Thompson and Josh Brolin are currently not under contract to return.

The highly profitable franchise is reportedly not an easy and inexpensive project to take on since the participation deals with Will Smith, Executive Producer Steven Spielberg and Director Barry Sonnenfeld are exclusive ones.

With Smith’s upcoming releases that include: After Earth, Winter’s Tale, I-Robot 2, Hancock 2, and Bad Boys 3, it should perhaps come as no surprise that the most bankable star in Hollywood remains tight-lipped about the forthcoming Men in Black 4.
