KARACHI: A joint meeting of the special committee of Pakistan Peoples Party and Awami National Party was held at the Chief Minister House.
The meeting was attended among others by Agha Siraj Durrani, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Zahid Hussain Bhurgari, and Rashid Rabbani from PPP and Rana Gul Afridi, Ameer Nawab and Younis Buneri from ANP.
ANP team expressed gratitude to the provincial government for revival of the Sindh Local Government system 1979 by replacing the SPLGA 2012.
It was resolved that both the parties had agreed on many issues and now both parties will present their reports to the leadership of respective parties.
It was expected that a final decision will be taken within few days.
