After wooing everyone as clumsy and spunky princess in ‘Khoobsurat’, Sonam Kapoor is likely to star in another Disney movie ‘The Princess Diaries’.
According to media reports, Sonam who starred in ‘Khoobsurat’ which was Disney’s first production in India mesmerised studio officials in Los Angeles with her performance. The officials seemed to have loved her screen presence and have decided to remake ‘The Princess Diaries’ with her essaying the lead role.
Originally the role was played by Anne Hathaway in the Hollywood version of the movie. Due to the stunning looks and fashion sense of Sonam Kapoor she has been roped in for the Walt Disney movie. Sonam has already garnered huge appreciation internationally for her fashion sense it would be nice to see her reprising Anne’s role from ‘The Princess Diaries’.
The movie is yet in the planning stage and Sonam Kapoor and the Disney studio representatives were unavailable for comment.
