ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Tuesday forecast hot and dry weather would persist during next 24 hours in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to an official PMD said,"In Wednesday evening chance of dust wind and light rain expected as mainly hot and dry weather expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in most plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Sindh.

Adding that however, dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds expected at isolated places in Kalat, Zhob divisions and Kashmir.

He said weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot and in most plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Sindh.

However, dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi division and Kashmir, while drizzle occurred in Lahore, Zhob, Sibbi divisions and Gilgit Baltistan.

Temperatures recorded in Punjab: Mangla 25, Jhelum 02, Lahore A/P, Kasur, Narowal Trace, Gilgit Baltistan: Skardu, Bunji Trace, Balochistan: Sibbi, Barkhan Trace,Sibbi 46°C, Dadu, Nokkundi and Dalbandin 45°C.
