HAMBURG: Indonesian state food procurement agency Bulog initially bought about 30,000 tonnes of corn expected to be sourced from South America in an international tender, European traders said on Tuesday.

Final confirmation of the purchase was still awaited, they said.

The price estimated to be around $217 to $219 a tonne c&f and the corn was thought likely to be sourced from Argentina.

The original tender sought arrival by Feb. 28 but this was changed to March 15, they said.
