PARIS: French inflation rose to 0.3 percent in October on a monthly basis, and stayed flat at 1.9 percent over 12 months, data from the national statistics institute INSEE showed on Wednesday.
In September, French consumer prices had eased 0.3 percent from the level the previous month, but higher tobacco and food prices fuel prices helped trigger inflationary pressures, INSEE said.
