PCB announces match officials for remaining PSL 6 matches

The umpires are Ahsan Raza, Asif Yaqoob (PCB Umpire of 2020), Faisal Khan Afridi, Rashid Riaz, Shozab Raza, and Zameer Haider.

Sarfaraz is among 6 individuals to have received permission for the travel.
Seven more players and officials have yet to receive travel clearance from the UAE authorities.

A late-night message by the UAE authorities regarding the delay in the visa issuance forced PCB to cancel the flights.
However, the board confirmed on Wednesday that a large number of visas have been issued to foreign and local players, support, and technical staff.

The teams were likely to depart for Abu Dhabi on May 22, however, the bookings were canceled due to the last-minute clearance from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government.
Now that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received all exemptions it requested, the league is back on track with teams departing for the venue on May 26.

Remaining PSL matches will go as planned in Abu Dhabi.
PCB's Director Media and Communications, Sami al Hasan Burney confirmed this in a tweet on Thursday.

The event was supposed to resume from June 1, and conclude on June 20, either in Pakistan or in the UAE.
If the board does not receive clarity by Thursday, it will have no choice but to postpone the remaining matches for an indefinite period.

The uncertainty is due to the UAE government’s condition that demands all players, officials, and management staff involved in the league be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The PSL organizers have received some positive signals from the UAE government and the cricket board.
An official confirmation in this regard is likely after the Eid holidays.
