imageISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Friday released 167,063 cusecs water for various rim stations with inflow of 123,801 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus river at Tarbela Dam was 1545.12 feet, which was 165.12 feet higher than its dead level 1378 feet.

Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 60,200 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 85,000 cusecs.

The water level in the Jhelum river at Mangla Dam was 1240.40 feet, which was 200.40 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 26,538 cusecs and 45,000 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 94,774, 90,452 and 60,415 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from the Kabul river some 14,600 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 22,463 cusecs released from the Chenab river at Marala.
