imageKARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at dollars 7.58906 billion , said State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) here.

According to weekly statement on Thursday , the foreign reserves held by State Bank on Feb. 07, 2014 amounted $ 2.84103 billion. The net foreign reserves held by banks other than SBP figured $ 4.74803 billion.

During the week , SBP's liquid foreign reserves decreased by $ 341 million to $ 2,841 million compared to $ 3,182 million in the previous week.

The decrease in the Central Bank reserves is attributed to the maturing payments of $ 447 million of which $ 62 million was on account of government external debt servicing and $ 10 million was paid to International Monetary Fund (IMF) as charges.

During the week , there was no significant inflow from multilateral and bilateral sources. Dollars 106 million were received as other official inflows.
