imageHYDERABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday said the ceremony to commemorate Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's death anniversary would be held in Larkana on April 4 during day time in view of prevailing security situation in the country.

Addressing a press conference here, he said it had not yet been decided whether Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would attend the event.

He said incidents of target killings in Karachi had reduced from around 10 per day to one. The terrorist attacks had also decreased, he added.

To a question, he said the ongoing security operation in Karachi was being conducted in a trasparent and fair manner. The operation, he added, was started with the consensus of all the political stakeholders.

Responding to another question, Qaim Ali Shah said the Sindh government had reservations over the LNG import policy.

PPP Sindh General Secretary Taj Hyder and local leaders including former provincial minister Zahid Bhurgari and others were also present.

Earlier, the Chief Minister chaired a meeting of the PPP Hyderabad division which was attended by the elected MNAs, MPAs and Senators and the division and district- based office- bearers of the PPP.
