imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 7.65 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5478.65 points and closed at 5471.00 points.

The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 370,800 shares to close against previous turnover of 730.600 shares, showing a downward slide of 359,800 shares. While, out of the total 79 active scrips, 10 moved up, 13 shed values and 56 remained equal.

The Major Gainer of the day was Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Hascol Petroleum Limited and Pakistan Refinery Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.18, Rs 3.08 and Rs 1.94 respectively.

Mughal Iron and Steel Industries Limited, Nishat Chunian Limited and Byco Petroleum Pakistan lost their per share value by Re 1.00, Re 1.00 and Re 0.52, respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 108,500 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 50,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 44,500 shares.
