KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has taken serious notice of the non-supply of potable water to some areas of the metropolis.
He has directed the authorities concerned, including the Managing Director Water Board to immediately pay attention towards this matter, said a handout issued here on Thursday.
Dr Ishratul Ebad urged the MD Water Board to ensure supply of water to the affected areas on a priority basis. He also sought a report from the MD in this regard.
The Governor called for ensuring judicious supply of water to all the localities of the city.
He stressed that the shortage due to water supply disruption from Hub Dam, be compensated from alternative sources.
