Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has sought a performance report from the provincial ministers with the directions to prepare performance report on the policy reforms and progress on key initiatives taken by the government.

Departments will also provide information on implementation of development programme, progress on the automation and online service delivery and details on steps taken to create ease and facilitate public-private partnerships and business.

The provincial ministers have also been asked to provide details about the initiatives taken for the welfare and betterment of the people, amendments in the existing and new legislation, steps taken for austerity, details have regarding reforms and future targets. The performance reports so received at CM office will be made public.

Moreover, during a meeting with federal minister and assembly members, Sardar Usman Buzdar

said that a monitoring mechanism has been evolved at every level and tele-monitoring is being made for the timely and transparent completion of development projects which yielded desirable results. He said development projects are need of the people of province and their timely completion is utmost necessary.

Intentional delay in development projects of far flung areas especially Southern Punjab will not be tolerated, the CM warned. He said that he is personally reviewing the development projects by visiting different cities.

Those who met the chief minister include Federal Minister Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan, Amir Sultan MNA, Rana Shahbaz Ali Member Provincial Assembly and Umer Farooq.

The CM in his message on the occasion of 'Mother's Day' said that affection of mother is a universal emotion/sentiment which does not require any day or occasion. Usman Buzdar said that he salutes to the mothers of martyred who rendered sacrifices for the motherland.

Moreover, the CM has strongly condemned the attack on the vehicle of security forces in district Katch of Balochistan and extended heartfelt sympathies with the family members of martyrs.

The CM paid tributes to the martyred Major and jawans and said that those who embraced shahadat are the real heroes and nation will also remembered their sacrifices. He said that terrorists cannot defeat the courage of nation with their coward activities and the nation is united in war against terrorism.
