Punjab's coronavirus tally reaches 5,827 after 97 new cases emerge

Punjab reported on Wednesday 97 new coronavirus cases and five more deaths.

Punjab's Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department reported the new cases which takes the provincial tally to 5,827. Lahore has reported 1469, the highest number of patients so far.

The total number of people who have died from the virus in the province has reached 100.The total number of patients to recover from the virus stands at 1510, while 22 people are in critical condition.
