Presidents of three regions of PTI and general secretaries under the leadership of Chief Organizer Saifullah Niazi called on Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at his office on Sunday to discuss matters pertaining to make the ruling party more vibrant and effective at grassroots level came under review.

During the meeting, it was decided that in order to improve governance, the process of mutual consultations will have to continue on permanent basis. Speaking on the occasion, the CM expressed that workers are valuable assets of the PTI and their capabilities will be fully benefited.

Buzdar assured that genuine grievances of the PTI office-bearers and workers will be resolved on priority basis. For that purpose, Buzdar said he will personally visit every district of Punjab shortly. He said that full importance will be given to the proposals of the party's office-bearers besides ensuring their implementations.

"To provide relief to the people and for the provision of facilities, the party's office-bearers and workers will be contacted," the CM said, adding that focal persons will also be deputed for improving coordination. "Every work is being done on merit in Punjab. The performance of Punjab is far better than all other provinces. During our 15 months, we served the people with good intention and dedication. Record legislation has been done in Punjab Assembly in a short span of time," the chief minister claimed and criticize the previous regimes for piling up huge problems for them.

He said that Necessary steps are being taken for holding local bodies' elections in Punjab. "We intend to hold these elections during initial months of coming year for which expeditious steps are being taken."

PTI Chief Organizer Saifullah Niazi said they will work jointly in order to strengthen the ruling party. "The process of streamlining the party at grassroots level is further being expanded and good results will surface after taking joint decisions with mutual consultations," he added.

Those who called on CM Buzdar included Central Senior Vice President Arshad Dad, Central Vice President Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Central Deputy Secretary General Umar Mir, Central Joint Secretary Musaddiq Ghumman, Secretary Good Governance Punjab Ijaz Minhas, President Central Punjab Ijaz Chaudhry, President Northern Punjab Sadaqat Abbasi, President Southern Punjab Noor Bhabha, General Secretary Central Punjab Ali Imtiaz Warriach, General Secretary Northern Punjab Dr Hassan Masood, General Secretary Southern Punjab Ali Raza Dreshak and Member Punjab Assembly Syed Abbas Ali Shah.
