President Dr Arif Alvi has revoked the summons of the session of National Assembly for Monday (December 2), it is learnt. According to the sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to his legal team to prepare a draft of legislation to clearly specify the terms and conditions of service of a chief of army staff to present in the Parliament for approval.
They said that the PTI govt has decided to first prepare a draft of legislation before summoning the session of the National Assembly. They said that for this purpose, the President has revoked the summons of session of National Assembly for Monday (Dec 2, 2019 at 4:00 pm) in the Parliament House, Islamabad.
