PM condemns blast near LoC, prays for recovery of injured soldiers

Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned on Thursday the explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in which five Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom.

The premier expressed grief over the loss of the soldiers killed in the blast. The prime minister also prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the incident, local media reported.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the explosion took place a few metres from the LoC in Chamb sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The explosion martyred five soldiers.

"The incident is evident of state sponsored terrorism by India violating bilateral ceasefire agreement and the international rules,"the ISPR statement continued. The martyred soldiers include Subedar Muhammad Sadiq, Sepoy Muhammad Tayyab, Nk Sher Zaman, Sepoy Zohaib and Sepoy Ghulam Qasim.
