India's crude oil production in May fell 6.91pc from a year earlier to about 2.80 million tonnes, while natural gas output was 0.4pc higher at 2.74 billion cubic metres, provisional data issued by the government showed on Friday.
Refinery output fell 3pc to 21.58 million tonnes.
