‘Commitment fulfilled’: PM announces launch of 3G service in Bajaur’s Tehsil Khawar
Fulfilling his ‘commitment’ to the people of Bajaur, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Monday that 3G services have been launched in Tehsil Khawar.
The premier took to his Twitter handle and wrote that as he had promised earlier, the people of Bajaur were getting 3G services. The prime minister wrote, "Another commitment fulfilled to bring what was FATA into the mainstream."

On March 15, the PM had visited Mohmand and Bajaur. Addressing the people, he had announced Rs2 billion grant to offer interest-free loans to the youth so that they could start their own businesses. The prime minister also announced that his government will introduce Sehat Insaf Card in tribal areas including Bajaur.
The PM had also said that the three percent from the National Finance Commission Award will be spent on tribal areas. In a tweet, the premier had said that the government plans to spend over Rs100 billion annually for development of tribal areas.
“Our people in the tribal area will see unprecedented development as Government plans to spend over Rs100 billion annually for 10 yearrs in tribal districts,” the prime minister further said.
