NAB recovers Rs 3.558mn through pleas bargain

GILGIT: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) (R) Sub Office Gilgit-Baltistan in a case “State vs Muhammad Essa and others” recovered Rs 3.558 million from various accused through plea bargain option.

An official communique released here Monday said that the accused involved traders, clearing agents and officials of National Bank of Pakistan who illegally managed to clear good from Sost Dry Port without paying the custom duties and taxes, causing huge loss to national kitty.

The main accused of the case Hidayat Ali Khan and Hakeem Khan were already arrested and being interrogated.
