Following the National Security Committee's  meeting over India break of Line of Control on Tuesday, foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the government is ready to take local and international media to the site of the Indian violation to expose Indian propaganda.

Addressing a joint news conference along with Finance Minister Asad Umar and Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, the foreign minister said that helicopters are ready and waiting to take the media to the site of the Indian violation. He added that if the weather permits, the media will be taken there so that they themselves can inspect the site and see the Indian propaganda and their fake claims.

FM Qureshi shared that Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua is presenting Islamabad’s stance at the emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah. He said Pakistan will share its point of view in the OIC.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had a telephonic conversation with United Arab Emirates Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the OIC.

The foreigner minister said that it was decided by the National Security Committee that a joint Parliament session will be held. He said he along with finance minister and defence minister will approach the Parliament and take nation into account of the current situation.

He said that the Indian Air Force had entered the LoC at 2:55am  and a few jets had shot fire and after the Pakistan Air Force responded, they fled at 2:58 am. "Pakistan Air Force was ready and is always ready to face the challenge. Do not underestimate the capabilities to defend Pakistan." He said Pakistan will act and not react.

When the foreign minister was asked whether the site of the breach had the presence of Jaish-e-Mohammad, the minister replied that there was no presence of the group. He said people should not come under the influence of India's propaganda.

The defence minister said that the Indian jets had entered the LoC at night and released their payload some four to five kilometres inside the LoC. He said that there are some things that cannot be made public, but a response will be given.
