Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday expressed serious concerns over the continuously dwindling economy of the country and said debt has reached up to 80 percent of the country's economy.
He was speaking at a meeting of all UC incharges of Liaqatabad Town, District Central. Members of CEC and National Council were also accompanied him on this occasion.
Kamal said industrial units are being shut down and unemployment is increasing at alarming pace. Trade community is in distress over the higher cost of production.
Kamal impressed upon the government to take measures for the revival of economy. Neither there is any justice system visible, nor any improvement taking place in the country. The legislative forums which have fundamental responsibility to cope with the issues being faced by the country, are unfortunately not bringing under discussion such public issues, he noted.
Under such circumstances, Kamal said, sense of disappointment is increasing among the masses. Considering the fact, he asked PSP workers to foster the mass contact drive regarding the next local bodies elections.
