On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,115. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.887 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 8,625.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.083 billion followed by WTI Crude Oil PKR 805.942 million, NSDQ100 PKR 790.175 million, DJ PKR 701.154 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 574.936 million, Silver PKR 538.764 million, Platinum PKR 197.929 million, SP500 PKR 79.199 million, Palladium PKR 46.460 million, Copper PKR 41.027 million, Natural Gas PKR 14.866 million and Brent Crude Oil PKR 13.533 million. In agriculture 18 lots of Cotton valued at PKR 8.268 million and 2 lots of Wheat amounting at PKR 7.467 million were traded.
