Peshawar High Court (PHC) has summoned Chairman Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) Shahid Masood Manzar to appear in person before its division bench on Wednesday (July 24) in a constitutional petition filed for his removal from the office.
It is reliably learnt that the PHC has issued notices to the Office of Prime Minister of Pakistan and Ministry of Law in response to a constitutional petition filed for removal of the said chairman ATIR from his post. The last chance has been provided to the Law Ministry to submit comments while the chairman ATIR has been summoned to appear in person on July 24, 2019 before Division Bench of the PHC.
