Armed men opened indiscriminate fire at a family in Khairpur Tamewali area, leaving four people dead and two others including a little girl injured. Police sources said that armed men stormed a house in Khairpur Tamewali area and opened indiscriminate fire at the family sitting in the house. As a result of firing, four persons died on the spot while two others including a woman and a little girl received bullet injuries.
The police said that according to preliminary investigation, the firing was opened by brothers of a girl who loved a man and later married him. "The woman and her husband were also killed in the firing," the police said. The assailants managed to escape from the scene.
