Former journalist and writer Nusrat Nasrullah died, here on Friday. His funeral prayers were held at Bait-us-Salam mosque near K-Electric head office in DHA Phase IV. He was laid to rest in DHA phase VIII graveyard. Nusrat Nasrullah had no child and his wife Dr Shahida had passed away last year. He left behind a brother and a sister.
He began journalistic career in 1970 joining Morning News and later joined Sun. Then, he switched to public relations and worked for PPL. After his retirement he worked for Business Recorder as a writer. Quran Khwani for him will be held on Sunday at Bait-us-Salam mosque between Asr and Maghrib prayers. Karachi Press Club office bearers have offered condolences over death of Nusrat Nasrullah.
