Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is the backbone of Pakistan and the Main Line One (ML1) project will provide around 150,000 job opportunities to the common people of Pakistan
He was talking to media persons here on Saturday at railway headquarter. Chief Executive officer and other high official were also present on the occasion He further said "After the completion of ML-1 project the travel duration from Lahore to Karachi will be reduced to eight hours
He claimed "the prime minister "Imran Khan will completing his five years of government He added that he saw no political future for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Pakistan People's Party Asif Ali Zardari in the country.
He said that only one minister was kicked out, Asad Umar resigned from his post. I will speak to Asad Umar and ask him to remain a part of the cabinet.
Backing the parliamentary system in the country, the railways minister said nation need to take the constitution forward. He added, after working with so many prime ministers over the years he can safely say that Imran Khan is working hard for country and nation .He further said "a captain takes time to set his team," he said.
