Pakistan squash team got a flying start when it recorded victories against Japan and Nepal in their opening day matches in the ongoing 18th Asian Games being played at Jakarta, Indonesia. It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan Squash contingent comprising four men players, four women players with three officials currently participating in the event. Team event has started on Monday.
In the first pool match Pakistan team registered victory against Japan in a 2-1 battle whereas in the second pool match Pakistan team beat Nepal by 3-0. After victories against Japan and Nepal in the pool matches of the squash event, Pakistan team moved to the next round.
