ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday reserved its judgment in a petition challenging Ministry of Interior's decision to place Zulfi Bukhari's name on Exit Control List (ECL) on recommendation of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

A divisional bench of IHC comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the petition filed by Bukhari thorough his counsel.

During the course of proceeding, the petitioner's counsel contended before the court that the NAB had issued showcase notice to his client.

Justice Farooq asked where was the notification under which Bukhari's name was placed on ECL. However, the officials of Interior Ministry informed the court that Bukhari's name was included in the list in compliance of a decision of cabinet division.

The proceeding was also attended by deputy attorney general Raja Khalid Mehmood and NAB prosecutor Imran Shafiq. After hearing the arguments from both sides, the bench reserved its judgment on the case.
