Political administration (PA) of Mohmand Agency has ordered Afghans refugees to leave the tribal region within six days, who are residing in Lower Mohmand Agency Ekkaghund Sub-division of the tribal area of Mohmand Agency. An official of the lower Mohmand Administration told media persons that they have given a written notice to all the unregistered afghan refugees that in the tribal region to leave the area within six days.
He said that strict action would be taken against violators of the notification, while the administration asked locals for not providing houses on rent to the Afghan refugees following the orders. "All Afghan immigrants residing illegally in Mohmand tribal Agency should return to Afghanistan within a week or face action," said an announcement made by political administration through loud speakers in mosques.
Assistant political agent Lower Mohmand Naveed Akbar told that the deadline 10th July were given to the selected afghan refugees not for all residing's in the tribal region. Those Afghan immigrants running shops and other business in Mohmand Agency various local bazaars should sale it and return to their own country, added an announcement. It will be mentioned here that here that afghan refugees are residing in the Lower Mohmand Sub-division Ekkaghund from the last three decades and they are running their own business here.
