KP government focusing on uplift of agriculture sector: Asad

Speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Asad Qaiser has said that the provincial government is utilising all available resources for the development of agriculture sector and welfare of farmers. The province, he said is rich in natural resources, but, the need is their better utilisation to earn foreign exchange for the province. He expressed these views while inaugurating solar tube-wells under Irrigation Department in Union Councils Thandkoi, Gara Munara and Rana Dheri of District Swabi.
Giving presentation to the Speaker KP Assembly, the authorities of Irrigation department told that the directives of the provincial government, the department is transferring electric tube wells in backward areas and arid land to solar energy.
