Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) won the President ZTBL Cup Inter Departmental Shooting Ball Tournament 2016 held at ZTBL Sports Club, Islamabad, defeating Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) 2-0. The teams namely, ZTBL Green, PTDC, TIPs Haripur, Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) Taxila and ZTBL White took part in the tournament.
In the earlier matches ZTBL defeated TIPs Haripur in the semi final and PTDC defeated ZTBL (White). The final was watched by a big and appreciative crowd. The ZTBL team showed great team work, in defence & attack and won the Final convincingly, yet Ali Abbas was outstanding for the losing side and was later declared the Man of the Match. Speaking on the Occasion President ZTBL Syed Talat Mahmood said that ZTBL is promoting sports in the country to fulfil their corporate responsibility and is bringing talented players to represent Pakistan in the games of Cricket, Tennis, Squash, Golf, Polo including, Shooting ball. President, ZTBL, Syed Talat Mahmood who was also the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the winner and runner-up teams.-PR
