Rice, seed prices up on grain market

Rice and seeds prices went up on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was higher by Rs 20 to Rs 2840 and the best quality was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2900, they said. On the seeds side, rapeseeds Nawabshah and Dadolain were down by Rs 50 to Rs 2200 and 2225, cake followed same pattern, losing Rs 40 to Rs 1100 and Rs 1125, cottonseed oil cake with bag Sindh new low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 2050 and Rs 2150, they said. Prices were unchanged on the cereals and grams fronts, they said.
