Vice Chancellor LUMHS Professor Noshad A Shaikh presided over a meeting of Admission Committee, here on Wednesday. The Vice Chancellor said that the admissions in the courses of MBBS and BDS for the session 2015-2016 shall be awarded purely on merit basis as per result of the Entry Test scheduled to be conducted by NTS at LUMHS Jamshoro on 22nd November, 2015.
The VC directed the Director Admissions to ensure the transparency in the process of admissions and merit will be the only and only criteria for admission in any course under any category including self finance. He advised the candidates/their parents applying for the admission that for any information/query regarding the admission process they should contact the Director Admissions of this University and shall be careful from anyone else who offer for any help/ misguide in the admission process.
The Director Admissions LUMHS Dr Ghulam Murtaza Dayo said that the admissions in the course of Doctor of Physiotherapy and Pharm-D for the session 2015-2016 shall be announced after the completion of the process of admission in MBBS/BDS. He said that the candidates of 13 tagged districts who will be appearing in the entry test on 22nd November 2015 at LUMHS shall be eligible for applying in the course of Doctor of Physiotherapy and Pharm-D (application form for admission in Doctor of Physiotherapy and Pharm-D are already available in the same prospectus) while the candidates of remaining 11 non tagged districts of Sindh can apply in the course of Doctor of Physiotherapy and Pharm-D.
