Most of commodities drifted lower on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai easier quality was down by Rs 190 to Rs 1935 and the good type was lower by Rs 150 to Rs 2000, they said. On the grams side, Grams 50x50 lost Rs 175 to Rs 8700 and Grams Dall 50x50 fell sharply by Rs 900 to Rs 8900, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1400 and the best quality was higher by Rs 30 to Rs 1450, rapeseeds Nawabshah old gained Rs 100 to Rs 2100 and Rs 2125, other items sustained overnight levels, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
