Allergy and ordinary respiratory diseases should be treated with Vitamin C and fish instead of antibiotics as it reduces immunity and prolongs treatment besides patient feel weakness in the body.
These thoughts were shared by Dr Noorul Aarfeen Pulmonologist at TECH Society Club on Sunday during a medical seminar on the topic of "Allergy and respiratory diseases and their cure". Dr Muhammad Sadiq, Dr Tariq Sohail and Jameel Gishkori also spoke. Explaining reasons of allergy and respiratory diseases Dr Noorul Aarfeen said environmental pollution, smoking and waste of factories are mainly contributing to the expansion of these diseases in Pakistan.
He added developing countries are more involved in such diseases as compared to developed countries due to their higher living standards, cleanliness and strict rules and regulations to overcome pollution.
