Two persons were killed while two bodies were found here on Friday. According to police and rescue sources, Bakhtiar, son of Bashir, was fatally injured by unknown assailant in Samanabad area. He was rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment however he succumbed to his injuries while being treated. In yet another incident, an unidentified man, aged 30, was shot dead by unknown gunmen near Chamra Chowrangi in Korangi industrial area. The body was shifted to the JPMC for medico-legal formalities.
The body of a 15-year-old boy who was strangulated to death by unidentified assailants was found from Khairabad Awan Chowk in the jurisdictions of Manghopir police station. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities. In the same way yet another body was found from Rufi Apartment, located in the limits of Malir Cantt police station. Police said the identity of the victim could not be ascertained immediately. The body of the victim was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for post-mortem examinations. Meanwhile Bilal, 20, a private security guard shot and injured himself unconsciously while performing duty at a bungalow in Bahdarabad in the jurisdictions of New Town police station. The injured was rushed to JPMC for treatment. Separately, Noman, 30, son of Burhan, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Pirabad in Orangi town. He was rushed to ASH for treatment.
