The Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro has organised the 1st annual symposium on "Paradigm Shift in Medicine" here on Saturday at university.
While addressing the participants, Dr Jam Mehtab Dahar, Minister for Health Government of Sindh, who was also the chief guest has said that this symposium will serve as a platform for those working at the forefront of Medicine and Allied Sciences to share and discuss the latest research and management strategies.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor LUMHS Professor Noshad A Shaikh while addressing the symposium said that we need newer medical technologies for our country as 80 percent population depends on traditional medical approach for primary healthcare. "The Paradigm Shift in Medicine makes a critical tool for increasing overall health are delivery system in the country," he added.
