Agriculture Helpline, a free of cost telephonic guidance service being run by the Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) for growers, will remain closed from July 29 to August 3, on account of holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr. The agriculture helpline will again be available for guidance of the farmers' community from August 4, 2014 between 8:00am to 8:00pm.
Farmers can call 0800-29000 and 0800-15000 free of cost during these timings for seeking solution to their problems or getting information about latest agricultural technology, a spokesman of the Agriculture Department Punjab announced here on Friday.
