Pakistan will take up the matter of Afghan support to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) with Afghan National Security Advisor Rangin Daftar Spanta who is arriving in Islamabad today (Thursday), said Prime Minister's Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz.
Briefing Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, chaired by Senator Haji Mohammad Adeel, the Prime Minister's Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs disclosed that Pakistan has evidence of Afghanistan support for the outlawed TTP operating from Norisitan and Kunar provinces of Afghanistan.
He said that during talks with Afghan National Security Adviser, various issues related to border security, the militants' cross border attacks and the ongoing military operation in North Waziristan against militants would come under discussion.
