Clifton flyover, underpasses: SHC appoints commissioner to inspect construction

The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday appointed its 'Nazir' as commissioner for the inspection of construction of flyover and two underpasses in Clifton. A division bench of SHC, headed by Justice Irfan Saddat Khan, granted the request of private builder Bahria Town for the inspection of construction site of flyover and two underpasses. The bench directed the 'Nazir' to submit a report after inspection within 15 days.
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Bahria Town had separately filed appeals challenging the SHC's single bench order, barring Bahria Town from carrying out construction of a flyover and two underpasses at Clifton area.
