Non Operational Military awards were conferred upon the Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, (JCOs) Senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Civilians of Pakistan Air Force for their distinguished services at an investiture ceremony held at Air Headquarters on Thursday.
Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari was the chief guest on the occasion. In the ceremony, Chief of the Air Staff Commendation Certificates were conferred upon 74 Officers, JCOs/Airmen and Civilians. Nine Proficiency Excellence Badges to PAF Officers, nine Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-II and four Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military) Class-III were conferred to JCOs and SNCOs. These awards are conferred in recognition of the acts of extreme devotion to duty rendered by the Officers, JCOs/Airmen and Civilians of Pakistan Air Force, hence contributing towards the improvement of the overall efficiency of the service. Large number of PAF personnel attended the ceremony.
