MADRID: Spain's government said on Friday it saw economic growth slowing to 2.3 percent by 2020 and 2021 while unemployment, one of the highest in the European Union, would drop to 10.7 percent by 2021.

In Spain's economic stability programme 2018-2021, the government said it expect the budget, which has been subject to strict targets set by Brussels after tipping in to deficit during the 2008 economic crisis, to register a surplus by 2021.
