Tax day to be observed on April 10

RAWALPINDI: Tax Day will be observed today across the province for creating awareness among the people for payment of taxes regularly.

According to Punjab Revenue Authority sources, an awareness walk will be held at Excise and Taxation Office while Director Excise Tanveer Abass Gondal will lead the walk. Later a seminar will also be held to mark the day.

Talking to APP, Excise and Taxation Officer Nouman Khalid said observing Tax Day is a step which would help promote a culture to pay taxes as provision of basic amenities was linked to it.
