KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.994 billion and the number of lots traded at 15,861. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.589 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.643 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.229 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.144 billion), Silver (PKR 1.051 billion), Platinum (PKR 424.461 million), DJ (PKR 383.377 million), Japan Equity (PKR 200.235 million), SP 500 (PKR 150.958 million), Natural Gas (PKR 89.257 million), Brent (PKR 48.225 million) and Copper (PKR 39.504 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 16 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 19.703 million were traded.
