KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.865 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,868. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 10.042 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.543 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.711 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 670.545 million), Silver (PKR 664.672 million), Platinum (PKR 404.384 million), DJ (PKR 304.870 million), Japan Equity (PKR 158.523 million), SP 500 (PKR 127.077 million), Natural Gas (PKR 98.702 million), Brent (PKR 80.217 million) and Copper (PKR 59.585 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.218 million was traded.
