KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.261 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,761. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.336 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.403 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.182 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.111 billion), DJ (PKR 872.150 million), Silver (PKR 477.323 million), SP 500 (PKR 429.869 million), Natural Gas (PKR 182.769 million), Platinum (PKR 155.235 million), Japan Equity (PKR 58.566 million) and Copper (PKR 21.388 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 16 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 20.440 million were traded.
