KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.882 billion and the number of lots traded 13,935. Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 5.066 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 3.771 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 3.079 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.148 billion), Platinum (PKR 728.181 million), Natural Gas (PKR 702.717 million), Silver (PKR 546.815 million), DJ (PKR 405.583 million), SP 500 (PKR 340.279 million), Copper (PKR 83.712 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 9.686 million). In Agricultural commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.626 million were traded.
