KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.155 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,937. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.513 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.439 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.583 billion), Silver (PKR 773.285 million), Platinum (PKR 562.218 million), DJ (PKR 388.880 million), Crude Oil (PKR 365.189 million), Copper (PKR 305.743 million), Natural Gas (PKR 154.033 million), SP 500 (PKR 65.658 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.409 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.817 million were traded.
